For those asking about the wax... Paraffin wax is the traditional, top choice for preserving fresh flowers, creating a durable, glossy, and porcelain-like finish that seals in moisture for weeks. For a more natural, eco-friendly option that melts easily in the microwave, soy wax is also highly effective. You can get it on Amazon & Walmart. I'm sure other stores may have it too, like craft stores. Hope this helps! 😊

Do you only dip the blossoms or the stem and leaves also. The tub would have to be quite tall. You would need a ton of wax wouldn't you? How do you dry them? If you stand them up won't the weight of the wax pull down the petals and the leaves down? How much wax should we buy to cozt 5 to 10 average roses? Thank you for your time and expertise 🌸💕

Am I the only one who feels bad for that poor rose as it gets dunked into melted wax? 🌹😢🥀

I used to do this when I was little. It’s better if you add glitter to the wax. Then once dry, I would put rhinestones on the leaves and petals. So pretty.

I did this with some roses off my rose bush that my husband bought for me . I actually used my scented candles and they smelled really great.

Wouldn't it be wiser to use another kind of container like a ceramic mug/cup, or a metal pot instead of a thin plastic cup like the one shown? They tend to melt

You can this with silica gel in a tub, pour silica gel in another tub enough to lay the rose on about 2in then gently distribute the rest of the silica gel till you get to a certain point of the stem. Follow instructions for how long you have leave the rose. GENTLY!!! Remove silica gel by pouring back into original tub. ( Its reusable ) Spray a clear gloss or matte whichever you prefer on your rose. It will stay delicate however if you put it in a safe place like a glass cabinet to minimize dust. It will last for a good long time. You can also put inside a rose case.
