I respect everything he's saying, but I personally wouldn't want my Husband to be working 2 or 3 jobs, or 7 days a week when I could work and contribute financially. Men working that hard are digging themselves an early grave and I'd rather grow old with my Husband than have a big, beautiful home, expensive cars, etc. and not have him to share it with. I know theres a handful of women who would cook clean grocery shop pay bills actually responsibly manage the money or whatever else so all you have to do is work but thats really rare. at the end of the day two full time pay checks make things happen faster then one. yes we have a kid and no I wouldnt change the way we do things

I would have loved to have a man like this. Yet, on the flip side...he shouldn't have to come home to a filthy house, no food cooked, children unruly and money being spent frivolous crap.
I've had the privilege of being able to stay home with our kids for the last 14 years I've been with this man. the only time I ever had a job was when I wanted extra spending money. now I'm going to school to get a degree so I'll be able to take care of him one day.
thats the way life was back in the day..My mom was the egg lady for the extra $$ She took care of the home.
