I was offered to meet a popular man in California to enter into pro body building. This was in 1983. I refused to inject steroids and that alone disqualified me from competing against the big boys. Everyone knows who the big boys were in 1983. I’m glad I turned down the needle. I lived to tell about it I placed third in one of my competitions. The top two were using and not sure if they are alive today. The only way to make all sports safe and athletes safe is to mandate monthly testing On and off season testing.
