That happened to my friend once , notice I said once π can't do that twice
Had it happen. I just shut down the throttle gently and it settled down. I stayed up, and I NEVER went that fast on that bike again. I was VERY lucky.
That my friends is a death wobble. Unfortunately, my BMW doesn't do this till you reach 105 mph. It will scare the sh.t out of you. Do not panick. It only makes it worse.
happened to me on my Harley front vader rim cracked at 60 mph thank God I was able to hold it scary shitπ
Thats a good tip for all riders but especially for those that just began riding. Another good tip is to stay put of the middle of your lane. Vehicles tend to leak fluid but it just builds up in the center of the lane making it dangerously slick when the pavement is hot.
Happened to me on a KZ400 at 103mph
Lost the brother yellowstone, same thing, high speed wobble, thirty five years ago
happened to me I just let off the throttle
You trying to tell me something I already know
How about slowing down. It will stabilize right away.
it happened to me at 82mph in a curve on interstate 55 in Mississippi and wiped out.. thank God I got up and walked away!!
Too much play in your steering
this happened to me on the expressway. there was construction going on and the gravel changed, I thought I was going to die but I had lady luck with me and I didn't panic
Deceleration
similar to when you u have a rear tire going down at 70 mph
Also known as a "Tank Skapper". Lots of adrenelin.
handlebar dampener will stop it from happening
That's not fun at all
Good information ππΌ
Good tip
Slow down immediately
Mrs. Ranger does this, you know.....
Happened to test riding brand new GS1000 back on 78 π€
There's A LOT of truth to THIS, had THAT happen to me, on a friend's Kawasaki Ninja. I wasn't even going fast(AT THAT time), was doing 40mph in a parking lot, hit some ruts and THEN...it happened. Scared The SHIT out of me... the LAST thing that he said to me..."Don't DROP IT".π
Also do not jam the brake I usually throttle up just a little bit after leaning forward I give a thought and pull out of that death wobble and just keep your hands on the bar but more or less theyβre just there so when you pull out of it, you donβt put pressure on and let them do their own thing and theyβll pull right out. So many things can cause this shit.
And pray
yeah I would say hit the rear rear brake and get it slowed down really quick and that would probably help
speed
Experienced it once and survived by rolling off the throttle and it scared the shi+ out of me. Happened ar a low speed thankfully with a bumpy road
My 900 Kaw Would Then I Gusset The Frame
I've experienced that several time you just gently hold handle bars straight and it straightens out easy
easy easy for you to say
