So happy I no longer have to deal with that! It was actually a big reason why I left NY all those years ago. Got caught in a snow storm after work and it took me 3 hours to drive home, and it was normally a 25 minute drive. Cars spinning out in front of me. Cried all the way home. I was done. Moved to Florida, never looked back and it's been hello sunshine ever since!βοΈ βοΈ βοΈ
Before you leave the house in this extreme and dangerous weather, you have to ask yourself βis it absolutely necessary?β if NOβ¦.then keep your butt home.
π² only an idiot would drive a nice mustang , in the snow!π²πππππ
As someone who resides in Colorado and sees this a lot, the 3 worst cars to own for winter weather are the Chevy Camaro, Dodge Challenger, and Ford Mustang. Rear wheel drive muscle cars belong in California or Florida not some snowy state
we drive in that shit everyday up here in northern Minnesota with no problem at all
Those rear wheel drives are impossible in snow!!!
In a slow slide forward like this take your foot off the brakes and the vehicles wheels will roll. When it starts to straighten up tap on and off the e-brake. Only the rear brakes are on and off to slow the slide forward down. As a truck driver we are taught to use the trailer brakes only when pulling 2 or 3 28 foot trailer that beginning to jack knife so they will stay behind the tractor pulling them all.
Mustangs don't get around very well in the winter anyway
How do you like the snow??
Only an idiot would try to drive a mustang in the snow.
Only an idiot would be out in thisπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺ
A rear wheel driving mustang in the winter is not a good idea.
Wish people would stay the heck home!
why he driving a mustang in that weather stupid
Memories of living in Alaska π
Use transmission to slow down, not brakes.
I miss the Utah winters. Since we moved back to Arizona I miss the snow ππΌ
That's a Mustang not a Bronco π€
Bummer days for all these snowed in folks. Nice 72 degrees yesterday afternoon here. A little cooler today only 68. Napa, California
Summer tires and winter weather don't mix.
Stay Home People Before Your Insurance Goes Up Or You Get Sued ,Hurt Or Killed ! Really ! π₯Ίπ³
mustang on ice. lol hope you got full coverage
No snow tires?
two days ago I sure did leave put my snowed in road with ice but have front wheel drive and snow tires...and I saw the neighbor with his Mustang going up the iced road .... the mext day when I came home again I noticed SOMEONE RAN OFF THE HILL COMING HOME THE DAY BEFORE and I guess a tow truck pulled who ever out of the creek with a winch the day before? ANYHOW MUSTANGS AND AND DIRT BIKES I'VE ALSO SEEN TEENAGERS OUT OF SCHOOL RIDING DIRT BIKES UP THE ICED ROAD THIS PAST WEEK.. crazy π€ͺ
Lolol Rookies
don't take rear wheel drive car out in snow period
Mustangs should stay parked.
we drove in bad weather...but we had real cars...heavy ass real Detroit metal, not flimsy plastic π€£π€£π€£
why do people insist thinking they can maneuver on ice????
I been driving for over 60 yrs now I grew up in North Dakota on ice toads like that and have had that helpless feeling twice. it really sucks.
This is not a Winter car.
Wrong car for those conditions!!?!!π€π²π
bad technique, not as much as the rear wheel drive.
thats like the worse feeling in the world when you have no control over the car.
You should have known better than to take that Mustang out on a day like that!
Why do some people suddenly lose their common sense and decide to drive knowing what the roads are like; unless it's an emergency, the only people driving should be first-responders, only first-responders. All other "first-responders", don't be heroic and just stay home. π π ππ
Who would actually go out and try to drive in that weather I don't care what kind of vehicle you have
drifting! what a great motor sport!
Your taking a mustang out in that.
Not so unusual in MI! I feel for you guys. Stay safe.
My Nephew always had Mustangs until he finally found out. They are useless in the wintertime. Now he does Jeeps.
Well that car only has rear wheel drive. Stay off the twisty roads with these types of cars but he did pretty well.
Dude that hot rod ainβt made for that forecast ..! lol lol ππΌππΌππΌππππ
this exactly how and why you know people are dumb
Mustang are horrible in the snow
Why is this person during a sports car in the snow? π€ I live in a state that snows I can guarantee no one drives a sport car when it snows.
Goodbye Mustang. Why would you ever bring that out in the snow.π€·ββοΈ
Like a Camaro is a great winter vehicle. WTF?
Not for me
Stay home where it is warm.
Doesnβt spin out if you quit spinning your DuhMass rear wheels
I don't miss that. We had a really sweet mild winter this yr, thank U Jesusπππͺ½ The flowers have popped up thru the ground 3 wks ago & I'm so excited π·πͺ»πͺ΄daffodil
That person knows how to drive in those conditions. Most everyone in Northern Idaho knows how to drive it.
rear wheel drive! π yah hoo mustang. beautiful. but not in the snow!
Good luck going back up the road.
been there, done that. don't care to repeat it.
Guys so good at drifting, heβs doing it in slow motion!
Like it said, if your car is rear wheel drive, stay home!!!
That s***'s called black ice I left Minnesota right after the '79 Blizzard of all time move to California June 1980..
Back in late fall of 1975, rear wheel drive was the norm. I was road tripping back to college to visit friends and an early snowstorm blew in. Was driving on Cat Hollow Mountain in the Catskills of NYS. Threw it into low gear and went up the mountain sideways with the nose of the car pointed to my left and straddling the middle of the road and came down the mountain sideways straddling the middle with nose pointed right. It was a "be in the moment, don't think, just do it" scenario. That was the evening I learned that I am not a "panic in the moment" personality.
π±, I,ve snow and ice before. No surprise here. π
also put the car in neutral and although you may slide your driving wheels won't keep spinning
Great day to take out your Mustang!
Nice driving there
What's all the white stuff?
Bummer π²
I lived on White Horse Rd in Greenville SC, in the '60s
