There is worms ( a parasite ) in most wild salmon. Like anisakis worms. It is recommended to alway cook raw salmon to 145 degrees to kill them. They are harmless to humans once they are cooked. Eating raw or undercooked salmon can lead to a parasitic infection, such as anisakiasis.
