What this video shows me, is a LEO hesitating to do his job to protect his life. All because of todays political climate stuck in his mind. I don't want to go to jail, lose my job, get sued, my life will be ruined etc..... Even though what we could see the suspect pursuing the Officer with a knife. They get trained, and the prosecution of LEO for doing there jobs is what's in his mind. Not right, I think this is a young cop.

An incident occurred on May 8, 2025, where Chicago police officers pursued a man, later identified as 50-year-old Joseph Navarro, from Chicago into Hammond, Indiana, resulting in a fatal shooting. Chicago police were attempting to stop Navarro in the city's Hegewisch neighborhood because he was wanted for aggravated battery. A vehicle pursuit ensued, crossing state lines into Indiana. The chase ended when Navarro crashed his vehicle near Dearborn and Gostlin streets in Hammond, Indiana. The provided image appears to be from the dashcam or bodycam footage of this crash scene. Navarro was transported to St. Catherine Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A gun was recovered from the scene. The incident prompted the release of body-worn camera and dashcam footage by Chicago authorities.

Dude probably afraid to fight back, white cop running for his job more than his life. If he was to fight back he’d be considered a racist, they’ll somehow label it as excessive force due to the size difference, he will be fighting in court to stay out of prison. Being a cop isn’t what it used to be to be, everyone is rooting for you to fail and everyone cheers when they die, I just don’t get it.
