do not listen to this woman. do not tell them who you are because they have a thing. if they can't contact you after a certain amount of time they have to stop pursuing. if they get you at all and can verify you then they get to reopen that time window

you sign a contract but if you don't pay them they sell the contract off so technically they get there money or most of it the company they sell it to you don't have a contract with them so even though it's a debt collector calling you shouldn't owe them you didn't make them pay off your original debt

Not true. You don't just tell a bill collector to stop calling. They're calling cuz you owe them money not to sell you something. The debtor must send a cease and desist letter to the company. FDCPA
