My granddaughter is 9 and she's significantly overweight. it's so hard for me to keep my mouth shut when I see her parents giving her more and more food. she eats so much that her stomach ends up hurting and they see nothing wrong with her eating habits. Both parents are significantly overweight as well. if I say anything at all my son gets mad so I just keep quiet

There is nothing wrong with indulgence sometimes, but when your child is that big at such a young age..... it gets worse as they grow, because they want more food to eat. Some how some parents think this is cute, but it is sad, because as the child grow into adolescent to adult...... they will have health issues
