Don't think for one second that there aren't bosses who act like the guy in this clip. I once had the pleasure of walking away from my floor manager when I worked in a big-box store, tossing my silly little smock back at her over my head as I walked away, giving a friendly little backwards wave, as she screamed "Don't you walk away from me like that!" I didn't need the job, but sadly, many people do and have no choice but to tolerate the abuse. My advice, if you work for a half-way decent company, is to keep a journal of incidents, times, dates, what happened and who said what, then write it all up in a document using neutral language and hand it in to HR. I once was able to get someone fired from a different job that I actually needed by doing that.
Looks like someone doesn't get any love at home. So, they bring all of their pain and aggression to work.
Boss is right. Get to work dude. A customer is waiting. Attitudes toward customer service have really dropped off in America.
