Not accidentally. Not poorly designed. Not “second choice.” You were crafted with intention before you ever took your first breath. Jesus didn’t go to the cross because you were perfect. He went because you were precious. Think about that. The Creator of galaxies looked at your life every flaw, every scar, every secret and said, “Still worth dying for.” That changes how we see ourselves. Self-love isn’t pride. It isn’t arrogance. It’s agreeing with God about your value. It’s saying, “If the Lord of Heaven calls me worthy of love, who am I to argue?” Healing begins when we stop fighting the truth of who we are in Christ. Maybe today is the day you stop talking to yourself like an enemy… and start speaking to yourself like someone God deeply cherishes What’s one lie about yourself you’re ready to replace with God’s truth? Maybe you understand that feeling. We grow up collecting labels from family, friends, failures, heartbreaks. “Not smart enough.” “Too broken.” “Too late.” Over time, we start mistaking those wounds for our identity. But God never called you by your mistakes. He calls you His. 📖 Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Fearfully. Wonderfully.

I once met a man who spent his life helping everyone else. He volunteered at church, checked on neighbors, gave generously even when he had little. But one evening he admitted something heartbreaking: “I believe God loves people… I’m just not sure I’m one of them.”

What if the voice in your head that says “I’m not enough” has been lying to you your whole life? Here’s a surprising truth: Most people who love God deeply still struggle to love themselves. We pray, we serve, we give… but when it comes to looking in the mirror with kindness, we suddenly become our own harshest critic.
