That is crazy everywhere you go now that’s how much it cost. My barber went up to $45 and I don’t wanna pay that so I went out and bought me a pair of clippers that’s crazy you guys come back in the days we just pay $10 for a haircut and since it’s Covid, everything going up so fucking high so greedy as unnecessary. well now yall have to look at it . $10 was a very long time ago and the price of everything has went up. just to get a $100 thats headache you have to cut thats not working in this day and time. I agree with alot of you paying over $25 is just to much however I do think barbers should take home atleast $150-$200 daily. they do have to pay a weekly booth fee of $150 a week than think about the cost of living .

My barbers father cut my hair when l was 13yrs old..then one of his Sons started to cut my hair David Adam...he passed about ten years ago l left Adams for about nine years things got slow on Madison and Laramie So l went back to his older son J.R because of our history l pay 30$..l was thinking everyone was paying 30$ but no.. everyone else pays 45/50$ the family has been cutting my hair Fifty years and since we grew up together..He cuts my hair the way he wants a typical Old barber old customer relationship we talk about the clubs we hung out at for half-hour before he picks the clippers up..And his son will give us both that ...those ole guys look...and before l leave the shop l tell one more barbershop story/small lie.then we give each other that old guy Hug..That says I'm glad we're friends can't wait to see you next week with another 50year old story,Adam's barbershop Chicago and Jackson Miss!!
At 44 yrs old, I haven't been to a barbor shop since 2013. I learned how to cut when I didnt want a wacc cut when I was in the service. So glad I dont have to deal with another man leaning on me, spinning me around, touching my face, etc. Never really enjoyed being in anyone's barber chair. Too strong for that shit.
I stopped going to barbers back when they started charging $15 for haircuts. The prices have gotten out of control.
Shit my barber is up to $30 now and $36 with the tip. I get faded twice a month so that's $72 dollars a month. I was thinking that was steep no way I'd pay no $60 a cut.
not so much being greedy is in the rain goes up they got to go up because of your treatments or whatever go up they got to go up because the scissors and clippers and all that good stuff towels and all that water they got to go up to part of life

yeah I've got a pair of Wahl clippers I gave 40$ dollars for been cutting my own hair for years but I took my son to my buddies shop and even with the friends in family rate it was 35 I told him he was going to have to get a part time job because he's like me every month has to have a cut 😂 I understand barber's have to make a living to but 60 $ for a haircut I can't pay it

I’m not a good barber, I can trim my mustache and beard very well. I decided to shave my hair off when my hair cut went over 30 dollars (weekly) That’1,560 dollars a year. Buying a pair of trimmers and a few razors is a lot less expensive.

In 1970 haircuts were $1.00 when the barber took his price to $2.00 my mom bought buzz clippers shaving me and my brothers head. Back then they called it the buzz cut military style. God I hated it but it was cooler in the summer. Today I shave my head bald 😂
