Nothing is wrong with this. I know a man who had a cousin that was ready to abort her pregnancy because she already had 4 kids under 10. So the man and his partner convinced her to keep the baby, the man that I know signed the birth certificate and is therefore the child’s legal father. The child is now 13 lives with my friend and his partner which he has done since birth.and they are doing great. He knows his mom and understands that she just couldn’t take on another child at that time in her young life. I don’t think any money changed hands but the life of a great young man was saved and made better through alternative parenting techniques.
