This is heartbreaking 💔 we live in one of the richest countries in the world. We should not have anyone sleeping on the street.
We had a good system until democrats screwed it up
I'm a street outreach worker, previously unsheltered myself. Live in the biggest county in the state which is 27% below the federal poverty line. Only 1 shelter that requires ID & warrant check. No public transportation to get them there. The shelter is known to lie about availability even on white flags night. Every year, I buy toboggans, gloves, scarves, hot hand & feet, & blankets. I also work in behavioral health & am a criminal justice student. I've learned that our system runs exactly they way they're structured. The inequity & inequality are intentional. It will never change until we advocate for them. No one takes their word with a grain of salt bc they're 'junkies, whore's, crackheads, etc.' I was all of those things & for 10yrs I've been a different person. We must believe in them even when they don't believe in themselves. Love them. Embrace them. Serve them. They're more deserving than 75% of the population like those judgmental ones in the comments. Did you offer that poor person help? I was homeless and dying from addiction. I had been a heroin and drug addict for 43yrs. Eight years ago Jesus Christ saved my life. I've been clean and sober for the first time in my life since that day. Now I help others with addiction and homelessness. If you see someone who is hungry or in need and don't help them, Jesus isn't in you. This video doesn't help that homeless person at all.🙏
This is caused by the corruption in the dumbocrates party. The federal government gives the dumbocrates run city's and states to help the homeless but instead they pocket that money and buy pb&j sandwiches for them and tell theyre constituents that they are helping the homeless people.
They take our taxpayer money that we work for and give it illegals and third world countries and do nothing to take care of the people here! The corruption from politicians have destroyed this country!

we only got 4 inches in the Ozarks, my HVAC and oven broke 2 yrs ago, even with a roof over my head I am freezing...I can't afford to fix things...when you give up, you give up.

how about designating specific area where drug addicts can do their drugs even hard drugs. Fence it off have medical their clean needles, also drugs counselors their ready to help with getting them into rehabs . So you limit a area for this which eliminates addicts roaming all over the city doing drugs Call it needle park

my son had a stroke and he can't work he's raising my 12-year-old grandson he can't pay his rent so he goes to churches he goes to social services and they tell him they just don't have the money now because of all the immigrants they've had to supply them with their needs no tell me what's wrong with this country

90%of the time people try to help get these homeless a dry warm place to sleep, but some homeless have adapted to sleeping outside, among other neroligical issues, personality traits and just end up right back out in the street. the other 10% film the problem and do nothing👍.

The funds for helping the homeless are being spent on foreigners here illegally who get SNAP, housing, medical care, and education paid by the taxpayers and none of it is spent on the homeless. That’s the Democrats!
you could also say it's not the government's responsibility to help these people The govt is not your mommy. Family friends communities non profit organizations churches. Where does in the constitution the government is supposed to get involved.
