I just spent two weeks with that weather and survived. I'm 62 yo and it did cause joint pain. When I heard that the temps were going to be that low, I bcame nervous because I've lived in NorCal all my life. I just moved here in July 2025. It's a good thing I love snow!

Here in Alaska, not a big deal. And those temps aren't THAT bad. I wear Ts and shorts yearround. It isn't until you get down to -50ยฐ and the wind is howling that it starts to get unpleasant.

We had a helicopter tree trimming crew working all the high lines in the area when they broke for lunch they just landed after dropping their saw and then fell in behind it, then they walked into the restaurant we were eating at next to I-95 Far out really!
