Did he approach the son? If I thought my father was dead and I later saw him walking around acting happy, I would approach him and say a few choice words and never talk to him again! Then I would call the FBI and tell them that you found one of their Most Wanted in the town where you saw him, and let him spend the rest of his life in prison or at least a lot of time and money trying to prove his innocence.
