That sheep's fleece was much too long. We had our sheep sheared much sooner than shown here. And yes, professional shearers did/do the job. Safer for the sheep. And, by the way, this shearer did a very good job. No blood. By the way, in the US, all mutton and lamb is imported. We can legally only sell the fleece, not the meat. Weird. P.S. The lanolin in the fleece is great for your hands. Smells like sheep though. 🌸
