No, she should not go to prison, it was 100% an accident. And if prison time is something that is unavoidable, it should be involuntary manslaughter. It’s definitely a bad mistake, if the person did not die, she should get fired and put on probation. But if he did die, it should be involuntary manslaughter because clearly it was an accident.
she shouldn't be on the force.. that is an insane level of incompetence.. People like that should not be entrusted with that level of power. as a matter of fact I don't think the vaster majority of those that are on the police force in modern times should be in the positions they're in and it's made painfully obvious on a very regular basis.

when I grow up cops were bullies and they were better cops because they weren't scared and ready to shoot you at any second. but they were bullies and they knew it and they knew how to control a situation.
I get it was an accident but in the police academy they train muscle memory so you know which side your taser and gun are on and she’s only worried about what will happen to herself so yes or at least community service
