I would not tip 40% without exceptional service. 10% was always the norm and I usually do more but if you expect 40% then find a new career.
then get a real job
tip get a better job
yea thats why I cook my lobster at hone that tip you say is about 15 dollars more then what my lobster dinners at home
if I have it I tip 10. if not, I tip 5 or 6 bucks. unless I'm buying 100 dollar steaks. which I would never do.
so let me get this straight you think that you are entitled to a 40% tip have you lost your mind
If you ask me for a 40% tip, you'll get nothing.
even though I go out to eat, a tip is not mandatory. it's highly suggested, also to me your tip is based on my overall satisfaction.
If you don’t make enough money to pay your bills get a better job 😳
you want a tip of 40 precent no way
tips depend on the service for me.
9.58 is wild I never tip
foad
2 bucks
if I was say delivering pizza and a customer consistently ordered and didnt tip a penny and I drive through snow and rain all the time im jerkiing off on it....
You can starve if you require a tip.!
No you will get 6 Bucks and like it
Not in your wildest dreams !!!
yea right in your dreams
😂 yall trippin
Can everyone feel the anger?
I'm in the service industry and a 38$ tip on a 95$ tab is a little bit outrageous. especially when most servers are over worked and over stimulated so they give shotty service and slow drink refills.
and another thing if you turn your tables fast and you have 7 to 10 tables every hour and each of those tables leave you a 5$ to 10$ tip I work a full bar and still take the cocktail dinning area I walk out most nights with more then 300$ stop complaining cause I also work in construction during the day and I make what used to be considered good money. after taxes come out every week I'm lucky if my checks are 1000$ after taxes
guess if everyone does eat at home, because people can't tip what people THINK they deserve " I think that's whomever is getting the service has to decide". just because you think your worth something more does not make it true. guess most companies will be out of business. when more stay at home people cook and the other goes to work will save the family money and big business better pay up or lose workers.
I just give $20 tips or $15 tips like we always do
10 percent tip only
yea ppl aren't tipping like that anymore. sorry but ur math is wrong.
Nobody tells me what to tip
never
I've been a chef for 20 years if you bring my order and get me a refill of drink once or twice, how you expect $40 tips, you did $10 worth of work
I don't get tipped at my job so no I don't tip and I will still go out to eat, choices you make are not my problem
that's ridiculous
when you go to church the Bible asked for 10% tithe he runs the church on that surely you can run a restaurant on that your boss should pay you more
😅 if you get a tip it depends on the service and the food not an automatic tip that doesn't work that way if you don't like that don't tell me to go don't go out and eat how about you find a different job
If your waiters and waitresses require your patrons to subsidize their income, pay them a respectable wage.
if you have to beg for tips ,find another career
if u want 40 percent get your knee pads out
if U relied on tips .. then Ur Screwed ..
The tip depends on the service
I tip based on service
you get what every I leave on the table you applied for a job that comes with a paycheck. and I don't go in a restaurant where the owners control tips thats total greed sooooo
If u gotta show us how much u want tipped, u ain’t a good server, my daughter is one daughter n law also , yeah they have complained but they also have been happy and smiled a lot more than not. You win some and u lose some. Just remember the diner and take notes for the next time. But all ppl ain’t the same, tomorrow is a new day. Smile look pretty be the best and treat ppl the way u would want too be! Good luck I hope u make slots of money at whatever ur doing!!
If the server turned 4 to 5 tables an hour and the average bill was $100. they would make $160.00 - $200.00 per hour on tips alone plus their hourly salary, say $15- $20, that's $175.00 - $220.00 per hour. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 A five hour shift is $1000.00 +/-.
NO WAY IN HELL! 20% Tops, 15% if the service was average, 10% if service was tolerable. 40%, my ass!
Really?
😄
tip what u cam life amit fair😭
if your a good server you get tipped if not you dont get squat from me period
Why is it multiplied by 4? why not 1 or 2?? are you really that greedy?? 😁😁😁
If there were no tax on tips and overtime you wouldn’t have that sign hopefully trump comes through but I doubt it
tell your boss to tip you
