You all have no idea what the autism spectrum is or how to deal with autistic children, or what their triggers are. His size does not mean he is not still a child. I went to grade school with a kid who was over 6 feet tall and 230 lb in 6th grade.
that kid ain't autistic, he's just a spoiled moms brat
call the police for assault to a minor and false imprisonment. the call an attorney . sue them. that child probably has a 405 plan or such. yest he is big but he is still a minor. the child should not be punished because the schools under staff or lack of appropriate accommodations
That principal should be held accountable for what goes on in there school, atleast answers
lawsuits, subpoenas and you clearly see the officer abuse his power by neglecting to uphold the oath of the Constitution he swore to protect and creates another reason why we need to stop hiring corrupt/racist people as officers of the law

I feel bad
My grandson has an iep at a school he no longer attends he was treated the same way. Bullied by the teacher and the principal. We had a meeting and they already decided what they wanted done with him. He was basically suspended for the rest of the year and had to do e learning. He was so frustrated and upset he told his sister he was going to kill him self because he would be better off dead. He was in 6th grade. He wound up being put in inpatient psychiatric treatment. My daughter moved to another city and he is doing much better. I can only imagine how many other kids this happens to.
a large special needs child can be a danger to other students. I have zero idea of what transpired in this particular situation. a tough call all around, perhaps better training. autism and snapping can not just be allowed if it endangers other children. I hope it gets resolved

Cameras should be installed i know of many autistic children that have been mistreated and reprimanded dealing qith someone who doesnt know how to address or even communicate with an autistic child. we live in a sad world.
