Agree. However, THOSE creating AI do nothing but work on AI day in, day out. They don't know much about human contact unless, of course, they spend their time at secret parties with strangers for a night! Peter Thiel is anti-democratic, preferring that society be managed by "technological elites" rather than political systems he views as incompetent. I guess he's happy not paying taxes!

Amen. But I remember when “rock and roll” was going to take us all to hell. AI has no place in my world. It’ll only intrude as much as I let it. I’m thinking a lot of advertising is going to be poo poo’d because who believes “robots?” I’m always gonna vote for humans. After all, we’re not all mega billionaires.
