πŸ˜† It’s in the FIRST AMENDMENT of our CONSTITUTION β€” β€œCongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” 🫡🏻🐷🀐🧌

Tell that to the MAGGATS that attacked a federal building and federal law enforcement on Jan 6. Over 1600 were convicted, imprisoned and let go by Trump a 34 time convicted felon, sex offender.

Agree peacefully, but not holding a sign and not making a sound. Protests can be loud and are loud! Freedom of speech is part of protesting. As long as there is no violence!

This may be true unless you are MAGA. Then you are allowed to beat up cops and storm the Capitol. You must have missed that part in the constitution.

You left out one thing! When you peacefully protest, you get a legit permit, to utilize the grounds around you as you see fit! If you want to dance, jump up and down, you can. This isn’t North Korea!

I got bad news for you there is a first amendment of the Constitution says you are guaranteed to a friendly not hostile or damages or injuries you can't do that it has to be a peaceful one there's three of them you have a right to assemble to protest you have a right to your freedom of speech I don't remember what the second one is but anyhow yeah you do have a right to protest but it has to be a friendly one not like storming that church not burning stuff that's not a protest

What constitutional right gives ICE to walk by peaceful assemblers and spray them in the face with chemicals, grab citizens, and throw to the ground and gang pile on top of them because of the color of their skin?

Former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund’s response to Pelosi was swift, comprehensive, and devastating in its specificity. Sund, who resigned in the immediate aftermath of January 6, used his unique position as the person responsible for Capitol security to systematically dismantle Pelosi’s characterization of events. β€œMa’am, it is long past time to be honest with the American people,” Sund began his statement, immediately establishing a tone of moral authority and calling into question Pelosi’s truthfulness. This opening salvo suggested that Sund viewed Pelosi’s comments not as mere political rhetoric, but as a fundamental misrepresentation of historical facts. Some 274 undercover FBI agents were embedded in the crowd in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, 2021, inciting violence that resulted in the riot at the U.S. Capitol

But do police have the right to use tear gas or rubber bullets or push or shove people who have peaceful assembled. Since that is their right Always remember that a peaceful assembled is also a right If they blocking your right of way you can go around not thru them As the law you have to be peaceful too

Right-Wing Extremist Crime Statistics Extremist-Related Murders:Β Right-wing extremists (including white supremacists and anti-government extremists) were responsible forΒ 100%Β of extremist-related murders in the US in 2024 and 2022. Fatalities Over Time:Β Over the last decade (roughly 2015–2024), right-wing extremists have committed the majority of extremist-related killings in all years except for 2016. Between 2001 and 2025, they were responsible for approximatelyΒ 75% to 80%Β of U.S. domestic terrorism deaths. Recent Trends:Β A 2025 study found that right-wing extremists were responsible for more than half (54%) of the 81 politically motivated murders in the US since 2020. However, this represented only about 0.07% of all U.S. homicides during that period. 2025 Trend Shift:Β A September 2025 report noted that while right-wing violence has historically dominated, the first half of 2025 saw a drop in right-wing terror attacks, with left-wing incidents temporarily outnumbering them

Your saying that a peaceful assembly is not allowed to protest? I've heard you. That is not right. You're also saying a peaceful assembly of protesters are denied their first amendment rights to free speech. I've heard you. Again you're not right. you're saying that protesters have a right to carry signs, that is protected under the first amendment, the same amendment that guarantees free speech. I hope you understand this because it is right, the first amendment gives the people a right to protest.

avator

I support ICE and Trump, yet the author of this post needs to read the US Supreme Court holdings on civil disobedience. Until then we cannot have a legal conversation about it. The problem with these attacks on ICE and other law enforcement isn't about rights. It's about there being consequences. The Democrats want to hold everyone else accountable but think they can do whatever they want. The Democrats have become a terrorist organization, not a political party. They need to be declared a terrorist organization and treated accordingly.

The right to say anything anywhere , protesting doesn't depend on your lack of comprehension , it's a right given by The 'First' Admendment of the Constitution called the right to free speech which can be articulated in any variety of manner.
