question, in many cases we don't know how old some of the oldest humans are without a certificate of birth or paper trail to proof so. How do you think they possibly know the age of a animal which has none. they have absolutely no way to date the age of a living organism. Even carbon dating objects or fossils accounts room for decades if not centuries of error.
McCaw, to damn long to be considered for a pet, they should live free and be able to fly. I took over care for one from elderly neighbors, I've had him for 20 years. he flys like a cartoon bird, he has never had sex in 80 years, he has never interacted with his own species, he can not survive outside of my care. if we did this to ppl we would be imprisoned
