and the best is when they are a smoke show and think cause they are hot, all dudes on site will just change whatever they want馃ぃ i did land surveying and had this 11/10 ask me if I could change their driveway after it had been laid and set for 3 days haha. she didnt know i was just a surveyor, she thought everyone was the same company. I put my equipment down and said "absolutely mam, I know the concrete is set but its super easy to remove and redo" she got so happy. after chatting for a bit and her telling me everything she wanted different I acted like I was finishing up notes on my phone and the. told her it would be done in two days. by then we were already working on the other side of the neighborhood but I could see her in the far distance putting her hand up like "wtf, nothing got changed" staring at her driveway haha

That's one reason I got out of contracting for residential clients. 99 percent of the time they have no clue what they're looking at or talking about, they watch too many DIY shows and don't understand why things are done the way they are. Slows the whole job down when you're on a schedule to get the job completed and get started on the next job.
