I had a Nestlé Crunch bar, when I was very little. ( Many decades ago.) There were some kind of tiny worms in it. I know this is gross, but they were MOVING. I have NEVER been able to eat another Nestlé Crunch bar.

It’s not recrystallized sugar. It’s actually cocoa butter that has bloomed and reset on the bar. Most likely from melting and then getting cold again. The bar is still good just not as appealing to look at!
