That's why most people who die a natural death usually have a smile on their face they say the best parts of their life. And what I believe they flurry of brain energy is the energy in your body being released back into the Universe remember energy never goes away it just changes form. So our phybody dies but actually we are still alive just in a different form and our energy is recaptured by the Universe thus going back to where we came from.
When I was a child and I had eye surgery at six years old, I was apparently waking up from anesthesia, but I clearly remember looking out this window and seeing beautiful green hills and blue sky and just a single tree and it was so bright and beautiful I don’t know what you would call that but I never forgot it and I’m 60 and I remember telling my mom about the window in the hospital room and she said there wasn’t a window there
Retired funeral director here. When families would ask me why their loved ones didn’t close their eyes for days and even after death. I would ask them “would you close your eyes if you were looking at the gates of heaven?” The family would take great comfort in knowing that.
