my granny was full blooded Cherokee and my grandpa was 1/2 this is on my dad's side, DNA checked I'm his real daughter, yet I came out white freckled and red-headed I look adopted. My buddy, who is actually a descendant of the Creek tribe, told me about their story. Some of the saddest betrayals of the Indians. People act like they were protectors of the land. No, they were conquerors. They captured and had war against other tribes just like any other group of people. They captured slaves, burned lands, but nothing as bad as some of the things that happened to the native tribes who didn't want to mix with the rest of the tribes. There's a reason we don't hear about their cultural heritage. They were wiped out well before the settlers even arrived.

I’m a pale Irish German Dutch mix and I know better that this lol I grew up in Oklahoma I’ve got several friends I grew up with that are native Choctaw, Seminole, Apache, Chickasaw, Comanche, but I’ve noticed when someone as pale as me claims to be native it’s always Cherokee lol
