If your kid doesn’t have a job and a debit card they don’t need a credit card. You’re gonna end up being the one paying hundreds because you trusted a kid with more money than they know what to do with. They need to learn about financial literacy before you go and buy them something that costs more responsibility

This is what it looks like when you get a LIMITLESS credit card from your mommy and daddy and have no clue about real life stuff. Like paying your bills! Which, good for her parents for making choices in life that put them in the position to be able to gift their child a credit card with no limit. But at least teach her how to be financially responsible!

I wish they had mandatory classes in HS for basic life functions. We had them when I went to school but I had to teach my kids.
think of it this way. a credit card is borrowed money and at the end of the month you have to pay back that borrowed money back
you bought it with a credit card credit card is someone else's money you have to pay that money back
