I thought when my husband was doing everything for me it was a show of love. When he deployed I have a group of people that did things for me because he asked them. I thought it was because he worried about me and loved me. Years later when out marriage imploded due to his actions I realized I didn't know how to do anything. I didn't know what money we had. Nothing was in my name and it hit me so hard. He was making me dependent on him so that I wouldn't leave. He kept me in the dark about everything. He said you have the house and kids to worry about you don't need all this too. I believed that. He had gone to every doctors appointment with me . I realized it was control. It had nothing to do with caring. I was so foolish. Never be dependent on anyone. Figure things out and learn how to handle things foe yourself. It took me years to go back to school , become a nurse and be self sufficient but I did it. You can too.

Ok sweetie my husband was just like this for almost 30 years I never pumped gas or had to do many many things! He died in surgery which left me broken start doing things for yourself now!

My man does not let me pump gas at all I mean if I'm out and need gas I'm getting it 😆 but he def makes sure I don't run out before he goes to bed at night so the next day and I appreciate him for everything because it's a blessing to have
