How come NO sea water came through the gate which the one fisherman opened to pull that person through and onto the boat.With all that bobbing up and down, in a sea with rolling waves, it makes no sense that not one drop of sea water came through that open gate on the boat. I would have to question the authenticity of that video.

Good thing that didn't happen where I live in the Puget Sound near Seattle. Here the water is so cold hypothermia will take you quickly. I lost three classmates in 97th grade over 55 years ago. Two brothers and their friend who went salmon fishing in a very small boat when the water started getting rough. Their bodies were found on the shores of Silverdale bay the next morning. I pray 🙏 for them to be in Heaven every night since childhood 🙏

I will share how to do this properly when the boat doesn't have a ladder or transom door. Grab the person to be lifted by the arms or clothing, if conscious, let them know they will be dunked,, you will use the water tension to lift,, dunk 3 times and on the 3rd time as they start to rise up you pull hard and they should come on board, a life jacket should make it easier to "bounce" the person upward onto the boat, but never just try to pull upward, use the water tension to your advantage
