For years the government denied the harm Agent Orange had on our service members and civilians in country. For over 30 yrs thousands of veterans have been attempting to qualify for compensation for various medical issues. It has took over 15%2B years of to finally get the compensation he deserved. In 1988 I went to the VA in Phoenix, AZ to register and apply for any benefits as a result of skin issues and was, literally laughed out of the hospital. I didn’t step inside another VA HOSPITAL until 12 years ago. I’ve made several attempts here, it’s been one advisor after another, new approach or there. I’ve gotten 10% for some loss of hearing, military didn’t issue hearing protection then. I’ve had some PTSD, for that I enrolled in CIVILIAN classes, still experience traces of PTSD. It seems as if you don’t have one foot in the grave or severe anger issues or night sweats or extremely bad dreams there’s little help. I’ve stopped trying.
