The skit is funny but poorly done. I agree with the concept though. Any company offering a military discount to active or veterans should demand a photo ID to prove your military status.
He looks and behaves , like a jerk, does not represent the USA military, embarrassing to say the least.

Never go by what someone is wearing. Only by their card that they can show you physically. Hats and clothes can all be bought on line.
First off, military wouldn't let you wear your hat that way. Any real military senior do that regardless of branch. They would be looking down on you for that. If not coming over and saying, what's your problem? My beard mustache, that guess that could come and go. But some of the branches, I'm not quite sure which ones some actually take their hat off. When they go into a public building, which is part of their code, did they have to follow? Not all of them. I just think one or two of them do.Let me know if i'm wrong.Please

we had a stolen valor guy arrested an d charged grand larceny for several free meals from a few local restaurants. a deputy was notified about his behavior and got the restaurant owners to testify. he got 18 months. but he lost everything. car, apartment, furniture etc. he was a jerk with no friends
This is staged. The Army and Marine Corps use the term "MOS" or Military Occupational Specialty. The Space Force uses "SFSC" or Space Force Speciality Code while the Air Force uses "AFSC" or Air Force Specialty Code and the Navy and Coast Guard use "Rate" which exactly describes what you do, i.e. ET - Electronics Technician. The so-called police officer and actor needs to know how to identify the services.
I ask if they give a Military Discount!If they do not ,no problem! it is a privilege to receive a Military Discount. It is not a requirement! If they do not, I do not make a big deal of it! I go to the location because the prices and services meet my needs! A Military Discount is just an add on ! Just because I spent 20 years in the ⚓️US Navy⚓️, it does not mean everyone has to beend over and kiss my behind! Folks who demand a Military Discount disrespect all Veterans! I would like to thank all the REAL MILITARY MEMBERS who responded. Great feedback. When I graduated from college I worked as a Military Records Clerk for the Army at the Presidio in San Francisco. I worked the files of Recruiters on the entire west coast. MOS was second nature to every single thing I did. The higher your educational level, the better your MOS level. This was a running joke, when I was needed to help with the enlisted personal records. The best years of my early years were spent on the Presidio. It was a sad day when it was decommissioned. However, the building where I worked is part of the Disney exhibition. 👍🥰

A bartender once told me he was a "paratrooper in the air force." I asked if he meant "Para-Rescue" and he said "no". I told him that when I was in the Air Force, we tried to avoid using parachutes whenever possible.
