it's illegal to modify or remove the catalytic converter from a vehicle. Doing this will result in prison time and a healthy fine, and the vehicle won't pass emissions testing that's required in most states

and this is how you do it, ahunh ahunh
just cut a big hole out on the bottom with a cut off wheel, remove filter honeycomb and save, weld the price you cut out back in place, done. no more expensive back pressure on engine!

if its clogged this bad. This is beyond repair. The exhaust that comes out of your tailpipe comes through this. Get a regular oil change and avoid all leaks when possible, and every 5000 miles or so throw an emissions cleaner

Just cut it off and replace with a new one, or straight pipe it
well, On some older vehicle's I have drilled them , reamed them, then welded the holes when they were stoped up! on newer you may have a problem with the O2 sensor?!
Dumb! The stuff in the catalytic converter has value.
