Speaking as a descendant of Italian immigrants grandparents and uncles and aunts in 1910 .None were interred in camps. Father born in Philadelphia served in European theatre even though Italy is in Europe with some family members still in Italy. Father served entire 4 years overseas no leaves to return home. Obviously research was done what families could be 100% trusted and which could not, no chances taken for national security. The one’s interred did their part by existing peacefully until war was over. Sad situation today people put liberalism before patriotism.
