its weird but in some or most states it is against the law to dig a covered trench on your private property in order to catch thieves or trespassers so I just wonder if its the same here. my uncle was hunting and the landowner put a trap and my uncle fell in and broke his leg...the man stood over my uncle taunting him, the man went to jail. Im not saying these thieves dont deserve it but you also don't need to go to jail for breaking a neck I guess.
