I have concerns that this mother wasn’t keeping up with her son when locked up. There could be no other reason for her reaction. I think this is pretty sad not keeping some kind of connection with your child no matter what he was incarcerated for. Mother’s love should never depart from her soul even having the worst of the worst. It’s just my opinion as a parent.
But why does it matter how dark he is..,
This king was definitely taking care of himself while he was behind the jungle steel walls! I hope him & his mother can get over whatever issues were in the past..It's sad that his mother is color stricten and not embracing her son after he survived a very dangerous environment for 26 years & made it home! 💪🏾

I find it shocking that people not realizing that relatives really don't visit people in jail people being in jail a long time with no relatives visits is very common

Plot twist: As of this writing he's back in prison for double homicide. That aged well. 🤷🏽

need for concerns I can lead you to the right road but cant make you walk it...most time they put you so far away from home you can't get visitors but in most black homes the attitude is I love you but I'm not doing the time with you especially when there's other kids in the house that need rearing you time becomes dedicated to making sure they don't become another statistic it's easy to sit and pass judgement when you really don't know

In the pictures his eyes look sad. I don't know how his support system will be, I do know he has his race, and ALL the others against him. I'm sure technology has changed in 26 years. His Mother may have given up on him, and if he was out of state some families don't travel to keep in touch. When a Mom does not recognize her baby boy, it's usually health reasons. 🙏🏽
