when I was about his age I back talked my mom in front of my dad, he grabbed me by the collar pick me up off the ground and said boy you may think your too old for an ass whopping but the one your fixing to get you ain't too old for.I never talked back to my mom ever again.

this is a prime example of no repercussions for bad behavior. unfortunately the police encourage it because they will arrest parents for giving a good old fashioned whooping
it starts at home with Mom and Dad responsibilities teach him to make beds take out trash walk the dog mow the yard do the dishes empty the trash and if he doesn't respect you for that with an allowance then you need to send him to boot camp to teach him respect of Mom and Dad and not talk back and throw guilt trips on you if you allow him to do that he's going to do that through his teenagers from teenager to adult send them to boot camp take things away from that he loves all his games can't play with friends for a week put them in a chair for an hour and a corner
