The cops who arrested you at rehab are sick individuals. They violated HIPAA rights which is extremely illegal. They interfered with your ability to maintain sobriety and drug addiction is an illness not a crime and should be handled as such and. not doing so endangered your life and sobriety. Your rehabs court liaison and case manager should have contacted the judge and requested to have the warrant squashed during your cooperation and continuance in treatment. Addicts are typically given alternative pretrial adjudication or post trial sentencing which remands them to treatment and continued freedom is contingent on successful program attendance and completion.

You did not almost kill someone who chose to seek and use drugs. He almost killed himself.
