😆🤣🤣🤣 6 feet of snow has a depth of like 4-5 feet. I live in Lewis County where we get lake effect snow. The last time I seen snow like, I was 10 and it was the blizzard of 77.
Snow in large amounts is not fun for drivers or snow plow drivers.
I was a Yankee once. Then I got a job and a car and never looked back.
Why would anyone want to live in a place subject to that mess?
😳
“Lake Effect snow” can bring a lot in a short time. I live in Duluth, Mn. and we have had our snowfalls but nothing like this, save the Halloween Blizzard of 1991 when we received 3 feet of snow! Incidentally, that snow storm became part of the “Perfect Storm” of which the movie was made.
As a Deep South resident all my 71 years, I have rarely seen more than a few inches of snow. I think it was March of 92 we had the "Blizzard of the century" in GA and TN, not sure where else. The Atlanta area got 12 inches, our southeast TN relatives got 24. Then in maybe 2012 we had Snowpocalypse Atlanta where it snowed so much children were kept at school overnight, fed and slept on mats until parents could come get them. The intertwined I-75 and I-285 highways nicknamed "Spaghetti Junction", downtown Atlanta and more were shut down. When I heard it was coming I called a friend across town and asked if I could come over for the weekend. I didn't want to be stuck at home in suburban Atlanta with a restless husband and adult son being grouchy because they were stuck at home. It lasted longer than expected, several days.
I live in mid Michigan and right now I have no water its frozen i think but even the vent thats outside i think is frozen because even my toilet won't flush.
My family moved to northern Maine in 1956, I was only 4 years old. This was a normal part of growing up for me. Yes the snowfall really was that deep at times. My dad & brothers would have to shovel us out themselves because the snow plows only hit the main roads. They would extend our antenna and tie a red flag at the top. We’d search for red flags as we approached each road. Us kids used to jump out of our 2nd story bedroom windows right into the snow. Now we know how foolish & deadly that could be. Thank God we never sank too deeply in the snow.
we've had it in Buffalo like that. We call it T-shirt weather.
every time I see a video like this and see that some people believe it to be true, I die a little inside
you can have it, I respect your decision but mine is Florida...... massive winter storm.... 53 degrees here 😳🙄💯
AI 😂😂
this didn't happen it would have made major news in New York and mainstream media
When I was a child we had 6 feet of snow in the early 70’s that was 6 ft tall and we made a tunnel even our dad could stand up in. This is absolutely mind boggling 😳👀 Wow!! You guys stay safe and you’re definitely in my prayers!
I survived the blizzard of 78 . no thanks ya'll can keep that crap
I remember 6ft snow in the 70's. me and my brothers would make snow forts. and stay in them all day.. those were the days..
WOW ,HOLY MOLY The largest amt of snow in a short time that I can remember in as a teen ,The Blizzard of "78" ,with HUGE DRIFTS, I don't believe The Rhode Island area has ever had that much at once ,but I could be wrong. You know the stories walking up hill 5 miles each way to School in the Snow.♥️♥️
I don't miss snow, saints fan
Imagine how much they would’ve got if it wasn’t for all this global warming
Yes we’ve had storms like this in Pennsylvania.
Is this real?
Wow! I thought we had some snow!
yes! I would hate to live there! I could not stand that freezing cold weather😲🤔🙏🙏🙏 Lord have mercy on those people!🙏🙏🙏
I lived there, and actually loved living there.
Did someone say 6 feet of snow has a depth of 4-5 feet? What am I missing here.
That truck reminds me of MOSES deciding the RedSea
so glad it's not us... the extreme cold is bad enough
I remember snow like this in the mid sixties, lived in Brooklyn NY now I’m 70, moved from CT to NC. They get 1/2 an inch of snow and 1/2. an inch ice and eeverything is shut down. No grocery stores, nothing
no thank you
That makes me so glad that I live in SoCal — where I live, we think it’s cold when the temps are in the low 60’s!!!!!
boy I'm no longer going to whine over the cold no snow yet makes me happy and not living in this snow makes me happy thank you prinevillle or and thank you God the father and my Lord Jesus Christ amen
I can't remember the year exactly, but it was either 1971 or 1972, my in-laws lived in Schoharie County, Middleburg, NY (upstate). My husband and I took our 12-hour drive from Charleston, WV, up for Thanksgiving. We had to go up through near Cleveland across into Erie, PA, up to Buffalo and get on the NY Throughway, headed East, of course. We had a blizzard follow us (I mean, it was right on our tail and, thanks to my husband's great driving, we stayed JUST ahead of it--the snow was on our back bumper the whole way! The roads ahead of us were still clear). We arrived safely at their house and got up the next morning to 24" of snow!! It was just under the bottoms of the window sills in the living room.
Not sure I believe those pics just talked to a friend in NY.
Absolutely could not live there not even for $$$$$
Goin w AI cuz that’s like 20 ft of snow 😭
The Sierra Nevada mountains in California used to have snow like this in the 60s and early 70s.
irs ai
This is what it was like back my day. We didn’t have “snow days”.
Wait, wait, Global warming, wait, wait, climate change, wait, wait, global freezing next, wait wait, oil is the problem, wait, wait, it is hairspray, wait, wait, I know, what ever the democrats come up with next to take your money, that is the answer!!!
Have seen this before . In Canada those people are ready for it . I was not twenty foot I hope never a again
Lake effect snow is crazy. You have to live there to understand. Wait till the ice comes outta the lakes and creeps up the shore and bulldozes right through your house. Crazy
That's terrible. I hate that people have to deal with snow like this. All I can do to help is say a prayer for all of you. PLEASE STAY SAFE!!🙏
Wow 🤯!!!! Business as usual? Seriously? 😳
That looks like the blizzard of 78 in Ohio
Oh my, guess the devil himself came to town. This is awful, no way could I live in a place like that. I would have to be sedated!!

Claustrophobia! I live in Minnesota and glad we don’t get that snow!!
I played in a peewee travel team hockey tournament in the 1975 in Oswego NY. The whole town was under 7+ feet of snow. We drove and walked through tunnels to get everywhere. They were dumping the snow out on Lake Ontario
what!!!
