Denver Fire Department and Denver Police Department display incredible situational awareness by responding to the stressful conditions that arose 01/02/26-01/03/26. Their teams were able to control the flames, leverage crowds of onlookers out of the danger zone, direct traffic, shutdown intersections, cut power and, essentially, save an entire subdivision. The battle to extinguish the massive blaze carried well into the next morning. This firefight lasted +12 hours and both DFD and DPD came out
