Both were being jerks. The biker can’t get of the road as there was no place to do so. And the biker didn’t have to throw the bottle at the truck. That is essentially assault.

I've been taught since I was a kid you share the road with bicyclists as well as with other vehicles but that also works both ways, especially when traveling on a road with a double solid yellow line. With the curves of the road hiding oncoming traffic it's a no brainer that the biker move over more to give him more space to safely pass by. Instead the biker acted like he was entitled to the whole lane and the truck driver could simply disregard the double yellow lines and go around him. Throwing your water bottle at the driver isn't going to win you any smart awards.
