Because they don’t need greens. Swear yall get dogs and think it’s a toy. Some will but they gain virtually nothing from it. Same with humans.

Moderation is Key:  Broccoli contains isothiocyanates, which can cause gastric irritation or diarrhea in some dogs if it makes up more than 10% of their daily diet. Serving Size: A handful or less is ideal for larger dogs, while smaller dogs should only have a few small pieces. Preparation: Plain is best. Avoid adding salt, oil, onion, or garlic, which are unhealthy or toxic to dogs.

My dog LOVES broccoli, kale stems, and apples. Whenever I pull out my cutting board he sits at the edge of the kitchen 😂 but he doesn't care for the flower part
