If you didn't issue Stella a handbook during the onboarding process, or you just said, "Now you be a good girl and get those pesky vernom," well, you have no case with Miss Stella. She did what she was hired to do. Good day. 😆😆😆

I don’t know about that! I had a 35LB cat that would just set there while my little Teacup Poodle caught every one of them! We had a field on one side of our house and the field mice would come in thru the dryer vent! My Teacup Poodle would quietly walk the perimeter of every single room til he got them , if he smelled them!

An exterminator would be cheaper I’m sure, and they’ll be sure the rats are caught and removed or killed. Many rat-catching dogs and cats think it’s fun to catch rodents and then bring them to mom or dad to show them. My parents had a problem with mice and their cat would catch a few every fall when the mice were trying to find somewhere warm. Onyx would crouch down outside the cabinets he could hear them behind and as soon as one popped its head out he’d grab it and then carry it into the living room and drop it right in the middle of the room and play with it for a while. My mom would scream and stand on the couch and my dad would open the sliding door and tell Onyx to take it outside. Other times Onyx would catch one in the middle of the night and kill it before my parents got up and he’d leave it on the floor in the kitchen, dining room or living room. If my dad wasn’t home my mom would wake up one of my brothers to take it to the trash can outside.

Dachshunds are natural, skilled hunters of mice & other small rodents due to their high prey drive & history as badger dogs. Their keen sense of smell, speed, & instinct to dig make them excellent at catching mice above or below ground...& apparently between walls 😆

I don't like how she grabbed the dog! Someone should do the same to her! Research before you bring home a dog. Pure breed dogs are breed for their instincts of their breed to do their job. Now do yours lady and care for those dogs as you should!!
