I applaud ALL the hard working nurses doctors clinicians OBGYN delivery doctors ALL of them are ALL very very hard workers๐ช๐ฝ๐ช๐ฝ I appreciate and love them all๐ ur work does not go unnoticed.๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผโจ And this clown cop should've just escorted this very exhausted nurse all she wanted to do is get home and relax.๐ธ๐
Here's some coaching officer. "My sympathy, mam. Driving tired is dangerous, too. I see on your license that you don't live far. I'll follow along behind you home so I know everyone is safe. Drive within regulations." Then escort her safely home and watch her lock up. Community service that's looking out for the community. She may be the one over you or your family when you rush to that ER.
He made a bad decision and it cost him his job. I wonder how many others he did the same thing too.
I was stopped by an officer when I lived in another state. He said the same to me. I had worked a 23-hour shift, 3 12-hour shifts, 5 16-hour shifts, and the night he stopped me, I had just done an 18 hour shift. (I could never forget it because I was an LPN about to finish RN school). I am married to a teacher who was also back in school, and we have 4 children who were in elementary school, middle, and 2 in high school. He said the plate on my car was expired, but the DMV had been closing early for the holidays (I normally worked nights, got off, and commuted 2 hours to school from my job.) After explaining what I just typed, he actually prayed for me, got my license plate number, and told other officers not to stop me. He actually apologized on the spot, amazed because he had family there. He asked me my favorite coffee spot (I told him). He contacted them and a prominent attorney who we all knew had breakfast there daily. I didnโt pay for anything after that until I graduated.
As they shouldโฆ nurses and Drs who another between 12-36 hrs shifts and with little to no sleep catching cat naps in between busy . I applaud ๐๐พ each and every one of them for the exhausting hrs they put in to save our lives.
Most of us that do 12 hour shifts which truly are 13 and 1/2 hours will have red eyes. ๐ธ
you can't avoid a nurse's now because under Donald Trump a nurse is not considered an occupation
There is a difference between high & exhausted ๐ค,Nurses work hard to care for our loved ones & us โฆshe donโt need this garbage after doing 12 hours shifts to care for people..He should loose his job..๐๐ผ
That poor woman is exhausted. That officer wasn't thinking before he opened his mouth. He was purposely trying to give her a hard time. He knew what he was doing. He deserved that termination.
Im so glad he's fired.
Driving tired and exhausted is the equivalent of driving drunk because your focus is off and you could easily fall asleep without even knowing. The police officer shouldโve escort ed her home some kind of way so that she wouldnโt get hurt or hurt someone else.
Iโm rejoicing that he has no career left. He doesnโt deserve one.๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
That officer needs to have some training! He doesnโt know his head from a hole in the ground! POS
When did Cops and Nurses stop being on the same side?? That an ICE Agent (Incompetent Coercive Egoist)?
I hate when cops do this shit... Acting like working a hard day and long hours doesn't mess with your eyes etc. they should fucking know they work 12 hours too. Assume its dui to get that $$$ for the precinct. Its obvious if someone is tired vs high or drunk ๐ฏ ruin people lives because they can.
I hope his eyes are red from crying over the loss of his job! How disrespectful to another professional.
Good for him, he should have been fired!
the woman is tired. hot Dammitt.
Very well said๐
I worked long shift midnites for years can be rough driving home!!,he saying she looks lit. Really????, shut up let her go home to bed!!
Half of them (police) on Xanax
Iโve never had a police officer disrespect me bc I wore scrubs - in fact, it was a plus! I usually would be driving a bit fast so they would let me leave with a warning! But I recently had someone steal my truck and put his name on a bunch of stuff he took and well he laughed in my face. So there are some bad ones out there! Heard that heโs done that to a lot of people!
He shouldโve told her โ imma escort you home maโmโ
She looks exhausted and worn out.She doesn't look lit. I think That cop needs an eye exam.
Nurse for 30 plus years! I was pulled over in the winter at 5 in the morning, after working a 12 with a mandated 4 on top! Because all drunk nurses go out at 4am in their scrubs! I passed the test, crying the entire time! After he was done, he half assed apologized and told me his Mom was a retired nurse! OMG! IF ONLY HAD A SCALPEL!
this is the shit we gotta put up with, always extra,n when we answer b,ack with dignity, their feelings gets hurt..then they keep pushing with more accusations making you upset, then comes the power struggle cause they wanna be right, then thre of arrest lying under oath.
What happened to the full video
Same thing happened to me!
clearly this woman has just come from work. Smh
He donโt care all he see is a black woman and she on something even after she explained herself
12 Hours of running back and forth then you have that light in her face, she probably just helped save one of your family members ๐๐พ
If she was a WHITE nurse the conversation would have been 90โข different! Fact!
She is, tho. Been there, done that
Good
He should have offered to escort her home so she would be safe & he would be there.
What officer says Lit.
so is she high ๐ค
Good ๐
I feel for this woman. This happened to me after a twelve hour holiday shift as a front end manager of a well known store. I lived forty-five minutes away. I got pulled over five minutes from home, dressed in my red and khaki. The cop was nice enough to let me off with a warning. I had been swerving on the road. Exhaustion is a real danger when folks are pushed to the limit. I got a better job closer to home and with a lot less stress the following summer.
the exhaustion is real, nurses are short staffed and over worked ๐๐ธ typical having 20 to 30 patients each per shift, assessments, care and charting for each one... we love what we do, but damn, we TIRED AF when we get off work
I worked a 12 hr shift and had to deal with my adult child going through psychosis when I got back. olOn my drive home (about 10 miles) I was swerving. Someone called in saying a drink driver but that call might have saved my life. My only problem was after explaining myself, he has me out doing a sobriety test in my work boots n clothes, sat me in the back and checked my car before deciding I wasn't drunk and I was too tired to fight. Oh, and my commute was 2 hrs each way for work. So I was thankful for the stop but he could've listened and I even showed him text from my son. IMO it was overboard and took another hour away from me getting much needed sleep.
I sure hope he didnโt write her up for anything. She looks exhausted. Let her go home and unwind and sleep! I hope the Cop got written up for his nasty attitude.
๐๐
Just because I look lit, doesn't mean I am lit, how about I'm beat down tired from helping other people in my daily life. I dont expect praise, I expect some respect as everyone should give and get. To all the Nurses, Doctors, paramedics, good cops, people, cashiers who ring up your groceries so you can eat all the jobs that people serve you to help make other people day better they deserve praise for the job they take on every day. Working with the public is a monster but you have to work it to understand the mess they deal with on a daily basis , as well as have their own personal situations to handle.
The officer stopped her for something. Then goes into the questions. Looking at her I would have asked her the same question. Red eyes good question. If I stopped her. Heโs trying to find out why she did the act to get stopped. The officer walked up seeing her red eye and asked her a question Have you been drinking and she said no sheโs been working 12 hour shift. Now heโs asking next question are you want something else because if youโre not drunk and you have your eyes looking like that itโs the same question. But if she said no, then I would just move on and go and give the ticket as reason I told her to start from the beginning. But I wouldnโt let her drive the car if sheโs so tired it impede her judgment. On how to operate a vehicle, she should not.
This must be AI, cause if I get in my car, the first thing I'm doing is taking off my stethoscope!
Just another dumb dirty Corrupt cop
Iโm a nurse , I work 12 hour night shift . Iโm completely exhausted once I finish .
Yes, I hope he's experiencing fatigue wherever he is. I hope his wife left him because he could no longer perform ANY of his manly duties ๐คช
She just told his dum ass she just worked a 12 hour shift
Work so hard and then not to be respected for all we give up in our own lives to take care of everyone his career should end!!!!
You have no idea what it takes to clock in and clock out. Annoying to ask if she is high and drinking. The labeling on us must stop.
