The Affordable Care Act got millions health insurance where they couldn't before and these KIT KAT members clanning it up in the comments. A black man lead the way where others only talked about it, what other countries literally do it daily ( and laugh that America can't). And you the Enriched Flour MAGA are blaming a man, not the insurance companies owned and chaired by other enriched flour people, when these insurance companies have been doing this since before Pres Obama was born. It's called Capitalism. And the nation of laws has this thing called a Congress. It's in this Congress that the House sends bills to the floor and the Senate makes them laws for the President to sign. This Congress full of those enriched flour people all wearing those red hats have refused to introduce bills to curb that Capitalism greed that allows things like this to happen. Too many of the enriched flour MAGAs get rich while serving as members of this thing called Congress.

Don’t blame Biden don’t blame Obama and don’t blame Trump. You can blame all the politicians in Congress in the Senate in your town. They are the ones that are making money off of your backs not the presidents. They’re just figure heads insurance companies are out for one thing, and one thing only… profit. So if you wanna get angry at somebody start voting smarter and start asking questions, don’t let them off the hooks, they wanted the job to do for the people what they want. And one more BIG thing. MAKE IT ILLEGAL TO LOBBY A POLITICIAN FOR ANY COMPANY OR ENTITY!!!

From someone in the medical field, I can tell you. It's the people in the pharmaceutical industry in America who are controlling it because they're getting rich. The doctors have no control. American health care is FOR PROFIT. people's lives do not matter.

it's all about money. the insurance companies don't want to pay for anything but they want to take as much money as they can from everyone. they are worse than the politicians that they're all in bed with.

because the system is ran by insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies. your Dr. is told how to diagnose and treat or the claim will be denied. that leaves the Dr. without pay. The doctor is then forced to go to work for a group or facility because he is losing his income and the practice he thought he would have after YEARS of education. it's a slow roll into socialized medicine. the pharmaceutical and insurance company now employs your Dr.

The problems are too big to fully note on this thread. Some medications are extremely over priced. Some medications have an abusive amount of side effects. Some doctors get kick backs for prescribing medications. The insurance companies need to do a better job explaining why they refused to pay for a medication. A little advice please call the doctor explain situation and ask is there another medication that is just as effective. Sorry did not have a good answer to your situation. 💕

I've worked at a Dr's office, just as receptionist, but also received ins. cks and posted them. I remember calling insurance companies asking why they weren't paying things but I have also called the Better Business Bureau about a claim they were denying, they were trying to bundle services. They ended up covering it. I'd ask my Dr to call or write a letter and call BBB. Good luck. We pay for insurance even when we don't use it, they should be paying when we do.

Where have you been ? The insurance companies do not care . This has been going on for a long time. Although, I am with you as an "older" person who has been dealing with this for many years. I saw a post where you made an unkind comment about "getting old" ...... wait until you get "old" and you are denied meds, procedures, tests etc, because the insurance company says no. Sorry about your son. Your comment disrespecting "old people" showing their love and happiness in their marriage ..... shows your true character

The Insurance Industry is allowed to go unchecked and can operate with impunity when providing any health care assistance. The all mighty dollar rules every aspect of our lives. Meanwhile, the CEO of United Healthcare received a $27 million dollar yearly bonus on top of his high seven figure salary. That is why my ER bill had me charged $17 for a fricken Tylenol. Sorry for your introduction to the scam of health insurance. It's a shame your son and all others and their family are just numbers in a corrupt unregulated industry. Stop bailing out foreign countries or special interest groups. Start helping the hard working people of our country. Invade Venezuela, profit from the oil industry, but Don get all your people together and have them donate to the people for simple access for approved medical care and not a 90,000 square foot ballroom or the Arch De Trump monstrosity you want built in your name.

Obama Care/ ACA, has nothing to do with the Insurance Companies denying life saving Medications and procedures. Insurance Companies were given those abilities during the Reagan Administration. It is all about money not the health of the people. Insurance Companies have to answer to Stockholders. I have been dealing with Medical Billing and Medical Precerts for over 30 years and these Insurance Companies blame the high cost of Medicine on tge Doctors and Hospitals when it is the Insurance Companies that set the prices and policies. There is no real reason they should deny his medication. Please Apoeal their decision!!

This is not Obamacare problem. This started way before cause the ins. companies were allowed to gain control by lax govt. regulations (or lack of concern, or "they know what they're doing"). Fight this! Appeal, appeal, appeal!!!👍

Have you contacted your insurance company? I don't know how they can say no, honestly. Take him to another doctor and if you do and the results are the same I would totally call the insurance commissioner. Wish, you and your child all the best. This seems unfair and unjust!

what it boils down to, and it's very simple: money. the insurance company won't make very much, long term, off your sons insurance. they think, yeah we can let the meds get filled, and he will get better. OR. they don't fill the meds. your son gets worse. all of a sudden, he's staying in the hospital. they're running dozens of tests. trying new drugs. tell me, which scenario do you think the insurance company makes more on?

I am a diabetic and disabled for something else and my new doctor finally got it under control with medication! I went in to pick up my meds and they wanted $1800 a month without insurance and $280 with insurance. I'm living on a fixed income and with them suddenly wanting to charge me so much I'm unable to get it anymore has made my blood sugar out of control .

I became a nurse in 1985, I've watched how health insurance has changed. It has always had problems BUT I can honestly say the worst changes were made during the Obama era. It was ALLOWED then for insurance companies to indoctrinate & decide coverage by GIVING THEM THE POWER TO COVER ALL AMERICANS WITHOUT ANY OVERSIGHT! Therefore there is no entity to ask why a bandaid that costs $3 for a pack of 20 would be billed for $10 for 1 of the 20! There's no regulatory board to oversee what WE CONSUMERS PAY FOR! I have always believed a regulatory board of a couple doctors. nurses, surgical techs, people in the medical field AND a couple advisors. ú⁷À

no sweetie. your insurance can only say they're not going to pay for it. they cannot dictate anything to do with treatment, only what they will pay for. its a shame that you were mislead in some manner and that your insurance provider dictates Healthcare. read your policy to determine your benefits and stop attempting to demonize insurance providers.

Its all about the money. Big Pharma doesn't care about you. I hurt my shoulder really bad my orthopedic surgeon who is a shoulder expert sent his report on what he was going to do to fix it. The insurance company said 1 of the procedures wasn't nessasry. My surgeon said don't worry I'm going to do whats right even though they aren't compensating me for it. I love that doc.
