This is voiceover not the actual conversation.
A perfect storm of abject stupidity.
The President of the United States is not just a politician. It is a position of honor, character, and moral authority. The President represents all of us, to our children, to our allies, and to the world. It sets the tone for what we tolerate, what we excuse, and what we normalize. As the leader of the free world, this office is supposed to raise the standard, not lower it. We used to understand that words matter. That dignity matters. That how you speak about women, power, and consent matters. Forget the right or left. This is about whether we still believe the highest office in the land should demand the highest character. We are who the world looks to for leadership, or at least, we used to be. The question is whether we still expect that role to mean something.
