I’m telling you after teaching in a cosmetology school for 17 years I can assure you, using these are an invitation to NAIL FUNGUS and losing your nail..
15 years ago I took an office job and I went and got nails to look nice Less than 10 days later they hurt and didn't feel right. Went to doctors and had to go into emergency surgery and they had to remove entire nail beds on all 10 fingers.Took almost 5 months before I could do anything without the worst pain ever. I get told all the time it's tacky not to get your nails done.....Hello Um MS. Tacky!

Speaking from personal experience I can say that the best way to have beautiful nails is to eat a healthy diet, make sure you are getting the proper nutrients and vitamins, stay hydrated, and use a good protective, healthy, as natural as possible base coat to protect and strengthen nails, and stay away from gels, acrylics, and things that attach to the nail that can’t be easily removed. Base and topcoat polishes, and color polishes, or warps, that can be easily removed with simple liquid nail polish remover, is enough. Even with simple polishes and wraps it’s imperative to keep the nails clean, and allow them to have some time to “breathe” on a weekly basis when possible. Even one “free” day or overnight will be helpful. All the rest with heavy glues, gels, or plastics is not healthy and typically lead to regret.

Ok any type of. nail materials. are nt meant to be worn. forever. . once they start to lift around. the cuticles. it is tym to remove them. fungus will diffinatly grow. because germs and water is trapped under the. nail also un sanitized. equipment will also give you nail & toenail fungus .. so unfortunately everyone. doesn't have pretty. feet and toes. I am. a. victim of toe fungus because of a nail salon..so jus be careful and. soak yur. feet. with. baking soda and vinegar. Epsom salt .. after remove of toenails.
