Those are not following the rules for angles of ramps, (rise over run), Google it, and turn them in by. Address and where on building ramp exists. They have to change it to meet ADa guidelines and laws.

This is when companies don’t care and builders don’t follow specs! 20% of the places I go to (I travel alone) have this type of problem! I am a senior and have a collapsing spine, no kneecap/no artificial knee on my right leg (1 1/2 " shorter than left leg). I have a manual wheelchair since 2022. I have calloused hands, trigger fingers, RA, Osteoporosis, Osteonecrosis and avascular necrosis.I use ParaTransit in three different counties only for medical visits. I don’t qualify for Medicaid or any public assistance to pay for a PCA attendant for travel. I pay full price for ParaTransit; no discounts. Seniors get an age accommodation but even though I am a senior citizen, I am charged and pay full price. ParaTransits for Nassau and NYC Counties will help me get in and out of buildings. They will get out and come in the building(s)in case I’m stuck with the small wheels on my wheelchair, or the weather doesn’t permit me to wait outside. If they don’t see me at the pickup dispatch calls

Exactly, that ramp is not efficient at all. I can walk and barely get up that darn ramp. I think someone need to sue that company for inadequate access, what if the person had limited ability of an arm, it takes 2 arms and some strength to pull yourself up at freaking steep ramp!! WTH were they thinking!!

it seems like they don't want ppls coming in that are in wheelchairs knowing they can't get up that steep ramp that's the way I see it.
