Wow, amazing. I took a private tour of a nuclear submarine in drydock with six colleagues about 15 years ago. I was concerned because I was told the tour would probably take at least three hours. I figured I'd be bored and ready to go home in an hour but it was so fascinating that the time went incredibly fast. Bored? Not even a little. I'm so lucky to have gotten that opportunity. What a machine! A nuclear sub can go on patrol nearly indefinitely -- only limited by the amount of food they are able to stow.

Well, I’m gonna have to ask my dad that cause I know he was in the Navy, and he did several of his tours on a sub not once did I ever hear him mention anything about a submarine carrying a chainsaw but I did hear him that he would be the last one left in the secure area to try to fix whatever might be wrong because they knew he could trust him to give it his best!
