A lot of paints and inks use flowers for their pigments, reds, yellow,and oranges. Beetles are used to make Cadmium Red. Some of these colors y considered "fugitive" and are degraded by sunlight. You see this in photos in barber & beauty shops that look very blue, be side the red and yellow pigments in the ink in those layers fade leaving only the black and blue layers. If you see color represented as CMYK it's the four colors printed they are Cyan for blue, Magenta for red, Yellow is always yellow and K is for the Key color which is black, but it's a transparent black not a solid black used to print type faces, or fonts.
